Sweet Baby

    A wiggly, squiggly, giggly child,
That coos and goos and woos like wild.
    A goobbly, gobbly, wobbly elf,
Pulling on ears and touching thyself.

Soft smooth skin with a pinkish glow,
Holding a foot while licking a toe.
A smile no camera or picture could capture.
Surely a creature of wonder and rapture.

Spreading food like mascara all over thy face.
Eyes showing pleasure at every new taste.
Such a bundle of warmth to squeeze and to hold.
Worth more than a kingdom or all of its gold.
